He completed his primary education in Mersin. He graduated fromTarsus American College in 1995.
Between 1996-2002 he studied medicine at Cukurova University, Faculty of Medicine.
Between 2003-2008 he studiied in the Department of Orthopedics and Traumatology, Kırıkkale University, Faculty of Medicine .
He work as an AO Fellow at York District Hospital, York, UK in 2008.
Between 2009-2012 he worked as a consultant in the Department of Orthopaedics and Traumatology, SB Goztepe Training and Research Hospital.
Since 2012, Dr. Cift works as an assistant professor in the Department of Orthopedics and Traumatology, Istanbul Medipol University, Faculty of Medicine .
He is an active member of the Turkish Society of Orthopaedics and Traumatology, Turkish Orthopedics and Traumatology Association (TOTDER) and Turkish Sports, Traumatology, Arthroscopy and Knee Surgery Community.
